To reach 80°C, mix 75% hot water with 25% cold water.
Brewing tea isn't just boiling water — it's crafting a moment of perfection. Each type of leaf responds differently to heat - too hot, and delicate flavors vanish; too cool, and the taste stays locked away.
[70–80°C] Boiling water scorches its tender leaves, turning sweetness into bitterness.
[~75°C] Subtle and floral, white tea shines at lower temps. Higher temps mute its delicate notes.
[80–90°C] Complex and semi-oxidized, oolong opens up fully here. Too hot and its layered aroma flattens.
[95–100°C] Bold and robust, black tea thrives at near-boiling temps, unlocking full flavor and depth.
[~85°C] This preserves essential oils and prevents bitterness from over-extraction.
